What Are America’s Math Genius Awards?

America’s Math Genius Awards were envisioned by Prof Ved to celebrate outstanding K–12 math talent across the United States. The awards, powered by Vedx Inc., recognize not just test scores—but creativity, resilience, and a deep love for problem-solving.

Recognizing diverse expressions of math excellence across the nation

These awards are designed to grow with your child — from their early spark in math to national-level distinction. Whether in Kindergarten or Grade 12, every student has a chance to shine today and aim even higher next year. Most awards are granted at grade-appropriate levels such as Young (KG-Grade 3), Junior (Grades 4-6), Senior (Grades 7-9), and National (Grades 10-12) — so students can be recognized every year as they grow.

All math-loving students across the United States and Canada from Kindergarten to Grade 12 are eligible. Nominations are welcome for children who demonstrate talent, creativity, or a strong passion for math.

Can I nominate my child even if they haven’t attended Prof Ved's program?

Absolutely! The America’s Math Genius Awards are a national celebration of young math talent and are independent of Prof Ved’s math programs. If your child has shown exceptional growth, creativity, or dedication in math, we warmly encourage you to submit a nomination.

Is there a nomination fee?

No, there is no nomination fee. This national initiative aims to spotlight math talent and recognize families supporting their child’s growth in mathematics.

What should I include in the nomination?

You can share achievements in competitions, consistent growth, creative math videos, or inspiring personal stories. All entries are reviewed with care.

Are students judged fairly across age groups?

Absolutely. Judging is done in grade-based categories to ensure fairness and celebrate age-appropriate excellence.

Will every nominated child receive an award?

Only a select group of finalists and winners will be chosen for the America’s Math Genius Awards—making this a truly prestigious national honor. These students will receive special recognition, including a framed award certificate shipped to their home. All valid nominees will receive a digital participation certificate and badge as a token of appreciation for their efforts and passion for math.

How and when will winners be announced?

Winners will be announced in a national virtual ceremony in May 2025. All participating families will receive details in advance.
