About the MathCON Competition
MathCON provides students with an opportunity to apply mathematics in a competitive environment while developing problem-solving ability, mathematical reasoning, and confidence.
What Is MathCON?
MathCON is a mathematics competition designed to challenge students with competition-style mathematics questions. It encourages participants to apply concepts they have learned in school while also developing strategies for solving unfamiliar problems.
The competition gives students an opportunity to demonstrate their mathematical knowledge, logical thinking, accuracy, and ability to work through challenging questions under competition conditions.
MathCON can be a valuable experience for students who enjoy mathematics and want to challenge themselves beyond regular classroom assignments. Preparing for the competition can also strengthen fundamental mathematical skills and introduce students to more challenging problem-solving techniques.

MathCON Registration Dates
MathCON follows a two-round competition format for students in grades 4–12. Students first participate in the online competition, with top-scoring students advancing to the National MathCON Finals.

The first round is an online competition, and top-scoring students are invited to participate in the National MathCON Finals.
