What Is the Noetic Math Contest?

The Noetic Learning Math Contest is a respected math competition designed to help students develop creative thinking, problem-solving ability, and a deeper appreciation for mathematics.

Unlike routine textbook exercises, competitions like Noetic often present thoughtful, puzzle-like questions that encourage students to look for patterns, think flexibly, and enjoy the challenge of solving something unfamiliar.

What Is the Noetic At-Home Edition?

The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) At-Home Edition allows students to participate in this nationally recognized competition even if their school is not currently offering the contest.

Although scores from the At-Home Edition are not considered official competition scores, students still receive valuable feedback including their raw score and national percentile ranking. This allows them to see how they compare with other strong math students across the country.

For motivated students who enjoy challenges and want to experience the excitement of solving competition-style math problems, the At-Home Edition is an excellent way to begin.
